Our Management

Erol Bilecik was born in 1962 in Antakya. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in his hometown. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 1987 as one of the first computer engineers in Turkey.

In 1989, Erol Bilecik founded İndeks Bilgisayar A.Ş. and became the CEO of the company. With a mission to be a technology product supply centre for computer companies throughout Turkey, İndeks Bilgisayar A.Ş. has been offering the products of more than 200 global brands to individual and business consumers in Turkey through more than 8,000 business partner channels.

Erol Bilecik served as the president of TÜBİSAD (Informatics Industry Association of Turkey), one of the oldest non-governmental institutions in Turkish computer industry between 2002 and 2005, and ITU Alumni Council and ITU Alumni Association between 2010 and 2014. He has completed his assignment as a President of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) which he has carried on since Jan 12 2017, with the General Assembly dated 20.02.2019.

He has been a board member at Fenerbahçe Sports Club since June 5th 2018. As of 4th September 2020 he has been appointed to a Vice President and continues his responsibilities at Fenerbahçe Sports Club.

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey honoured Erol Bilecik with the Meritorious Service Medal in 15 July 2010, for his support and contribution to the field of education.

Mr. Bilecik is married and has two children.

Born in Samsun in 1952, Atilla Kayalıoğlu graduated from Boğaziçi University Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1974, and then completed his master's degree in Syracuse University Department of Industrial Engineering. He worked in various positions at IBM Turk between 1980 and 1999 and joined Index AŞ in 1999 after working as Global Services Manager. Kayalıoğlu is a Member of the Board of Directors of Index AŞ, Vice Chairman of Neteks AŞ, Board of Directors of Datagate AŞ, İnfin AŞ and Teklos AŞ. After serving as the General Manager of Index AŞ, since September 5, 2017 Atilla Kayalıoğlu has been the Vice Chief Executive Officer of Index Grup Companies. Atilla Kayalıoğlu also continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors of TUBISAD Informatics Industry Association. Atilla Kayalıoğlu is married, has two children and speaks English.

Born in 1965, Salih Baş graduated from Anadolu University Department of Business Administration. He has been working at Index Grup since 1990.

He first served as Deputy General Manager in Charge of Financial Affairs of İndeks Bilgisayar AŞ and was appointed as Deputy Chairman of Board of Directors and General Manager of Datagate AŞ in 2003. He currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of İndeks Bilgisayar AŞ, Teklos AŞ, İnfin AŞ and Desbil AŞ, which are among the group companies, and as Member of Board of Directors of Despec AŞ, Neotech AŞ ve Neteks AŞ. Salih Baş is married and has 1 child and speaks English.

Born in Giresun in 1965. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Bulancak and graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences in 1987. He began to work at the accounting department of Yücelen İnşaat A.Ş. in 1987 and soon was appointed as the Financial Affairs Manager of this company, which he continued until 2000. He began to work as the Financial Affairs Director at İndeks Bilgisayar AŞ in September 2000. In 2003, he was appointed Deputy General Manager in Charge of Financial Affairs of the company. He currently serves as Member of Board of Directors of Datagate AŞ, Despec AŞ, Neteks AŞ and Teklos AŞ. He has been an Independent Accountant and Financial Advisor since 1985 and is a member of Istanbul SMMMO (Chamber of Independent Accountants and Financial Advisors of Istanbul). He has the title of Independent Auditor. He is married with two children.

Born in Ankara in 1977, Banu Sürek graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Business Administration in 1999 and started her professional career at Garanti Bank. She worked as portfolio manager at Garanti Bank from September 1999 to February 2002. Sürek studied Marketing Management at CUNY Zicklin School of Business in the United States from February 2002 to February 2003. Between February 2003 and November 2003, she served as Finance Officer of İndeks Bilgisayar AŞ. She worked as Financial Affairs Manager of Datagate Bilgisayar AŞ between November 2003 and May 2007. She worked at the group as the Marketing Manager of Datagate Bilgisayar AŞ between May 2007 and June 2011 and between February 2015 and July 2016. Sürek worked as the Deputy General Manager of İndeks Bilgisayar AŞ starting July 2016, and then she was appointed General Manager of İndeks Bilgisayar AŞ on September 5, 2017. Banu Sürek is the mother of 2 children and speaks English.

Born in Mersin, Turkey in 1971, Atilla Alkaş graduated Erciyes University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business in 1996. He started his career in Marmara and West Blacksea vendor network of Escort Computer AŞ in 1998. He worked as customer representative responsible of vendor network between September 1999 and December 2002 in Index Bilgisayar AŞ. He was assigned as Network Manager in chain stores and wholesale network between December 2002 and November 2005. He worked as Sales Manager in Index Group subsidiary Datagate AŞ from November 2005 to March 2009. He took the role of Sales Manager of Index Bilgisayar AŞ from March 2009 to October 2014 and Sales Director from November 2014 to September 2017. He is Deputy General Manager of Index Bilgisayar AŞ since September 5, 2017.

Atilla Alkaş is the father of two sons and has English proficiency.
